For this assignment I chose a concert hall called "casa de musica" located in Porto/Portugal. The architect Rem Koolhaas and his Office OMA designed the builing 6 years ago.Concidering it`s shape, the building looks like a polygonal modified concrete block. Large glass elements are added to provide a connection between the inside and the outside. The main colours of my layout refer to the materiality. Grey and blue are the dominating colours.The building is explained in three parts. The first one consists of digrams describing the different elements of the outside shape. The second is a text, describing the design process and the concept of the building and the third part are photographs providing a visual impression.

You are doing super work for this class. I especially like this poster because you were able to mimic the dynamism of the building with your bold blue stripe and muted background. The diagrams of the building are very expressive.
To me, this has much more visual punch than the Liebeskind (assn5) poster. Because you were able to integrate strong photos, you naturally increased the visual richness of the piece. The photos pushed you to match their contrast and delicacy in the diagrams. The contrast of the super large background with blue stripe and the delicate photos works very well.
In contrast, the abstraction of Liebeskind's building doesn't come across with as much information. While the gradients are interesting, perhaps the snaky plan needs to contrast more with the background (push it really dark?)
Glad to see your work on the Liebeskind one, it's very interesting with the text wrap reinforcing the plan. and the section giving grounding to the bottom.
